Born in the beautiful city of Algiers, Algeria, in the
summer of 1974, Reda grew up in a neighborhood in
the hills of Algiers. Influenced by rock and heavy
metal in his early teenage years, he started playing
the guitar at the age of 14.

During high school, Reda and his friend Hedi formed
the first Metal band in Algeria, it was called The
Rascass.
The Rascass did great and recorded their first album
in the spring of 1993. The song Vonce from their
album was played in different radio stations. The
Rascass had many fans and opened the doors to many
other metal bands in Algeria.

Reda moved to the United States of America in 1994
and did not play any music for at least 4 years.
